For people who want to help
The public feed can be read without an account. A donor can choose a request, select an amount, accept the direct-donation terms and continue without creating a username or password.
For people who need help
A basic help request can be published without opening an account first. A mobile number is used internally for request identification and receiving the donation; it is not displayed in the public post and is revealed only inside an actual Bit payment flow when needed to complete the direct transfer.
Privacy by design
DirectAid is built to minimize unnecessary sensitive data. IDs, bank pages, salary slips and medical documents are not required to publish a basic request.
Holocaust survivor requests
A requester can self-declare that they are a Holocaust survivor. The marker is displayed prominently and is clearly described as self-declared, not government verification.
Accounts are optional for advanced tools
Chat, video, history, profile and full management are available through an account. Reading, basic donation and a basic guest help request do not require one.
